I had the wonderful experience of getting together with some Denver area bloggers (courtesy of Windex) and painting some pottery at “Into the Fire” in Old Town Arvada and what a fabulous time we had!
The owners are curteous helpful and the pottery is lovely – honestly giving us WAY too many choices to make before picking a piece and starting to paint. They have heaps of fabulous templates to choose from so you can get a jump start on the designs and create something you really love.
The owners give you a little tutorial on what works best and offer to “help” if there’s a disaster or you mess up – however, I think we all learned that “happy accidents” can look wonderful on pottery.
We all spent the time gabbing and enjoying ourselves, most of us talked about plans to come back and bring family members or friends for another time!
Be sure to visit their website for specials and they are having a Spring Break Kids Camp and they also offer birthday party packages too!
Two times a month they have Family night – where the family can share a studio fee and then pick their pieces to paint!
