2 lbs of ground beef

1 cup sour cream

1/2 envelope of dry onion soup mix

3/4 cup of dry bread crumbs

1/8 teaspoon pepper

In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, sour cream, onion soup mix, bread crumbs and pepper using your hands. Refrigerate for at least a half hour in order to get the french onion soup mix to soften and the flavors to blend.

Grill or cook on stove – approximately 6-8 minutes per side.

Note: we had better luck with the stove  because they do fall apart. Make sure they’re really cold when you put them on to cook – it helps them stick together.
