The Colorado History Museum has partnered with Denver Water to bring a multi-faceted approach to how we view our state with The Living West . The exhibit spans geographically from the Mesa Verde cliff dwellings of the south west, through the mountains, and out to the eastern plains. The exhibit also crosses time with an examination of our past then eventually leads toward some of the considerations we need to make with resource management for our future.
The design and scope of The Living West is sophisticated enough for adults to enjoy while keeping even the smallest visitors entertained.
To prepare for or recapture your visit to The Living West there is an activity book available for download featuring recipes, images to color, and projects that relate to the three main geographical features of the exhibit.
The Colorado History Museum is also offering FREE children’s admission through February 28th with an accompanying paying adult if the child wears the Clothespin Grasshopper from the Life in the Dust Bowl section of the Activity Book.
The Living West is included in general museum admission. For more information visit Colorado History Museum
