Saturday in Downtown Denver was crazy! Comic Con at the convention center, the chalk art festival was taking place on Larimer square, the Capitol Hill People’s fair was going on and the Rockies played at 2pm! It was amazing, however, what was more amazing was that you could get your car washed in downtown Denver – for free!!
You might think this is common if you’re from the suburbs, but in central Denver 
there are no car washes! One woman with a fabulous 48 Ford, was so excited she didn’t have to drive out to the far reaches of the suburbs in order to get a great car wash, instead, she was offered one for free from the fabulous folks at Conoco! By the way, she was headed to a car show the next day – not surprising with that awesome car eh?
Maybe you’ve seen the commercials where the folks at Conoco do sort of a “flash mob” car wash and provide free car washes to folks (the one on the commercial takes place in an office building)? Well in Denver ON Saturday they set up camp across form Coors field and offered car washes to anyone who drove by!
