What you want to know: Con O’Shea-Creal as chimney sweep/artist nearly steals the show from Madeline Trumble as Mary Poppins—-it’s pretty hard to compete with a man who tap dances upside down above the stage–but both are truly outstanding in this show. Lucas Schultz as Michael Banks and Madison Ann Mullahey as Jane Banks were splendid in their roles.
What you need to know: Denver Center Attractions and producers Thomas Schumacher of Disney Theatrical Productions and Cameron Mackintosh present this award-winning musical at the Buell Theatre through May 5. This production is based on both the original Mary Poppins books by author P.L. Travers and the 1964Walt Disney film based on those books.

What I want to know: Does the song, “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” ever get old? It was completely infectious with the audience and we all clapped, sang and even danced along when that song was performed. We sang it in the car on the drive home too.
Go to www.denvercenter.org to get the showtimes and buy your tickets. Keep in mind there is a gift shop of Mary Poppins paraphernalia in the lobby for anyone in need of their own parrot-head umbrella or “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” beach towel.
MARY POPPINS in Denver is a HealthOne Family Production and an added attraction to the Denver Center Attractions 2013/14 season which is sponsored by United Airlines and Vectra Bank. Media sponsorship for DCA is provided by The Denver Post and CBS4. The Denver Center for the Performing Arts is supported in part by the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District.
